Between the years 1609 and 1768 in the border areas of the current Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay, we had one of the humanity's more amazing stories ; the  “Jesuit Province of Paraguay." It was formed by 30 towns that reached such a social and technological level that caused the anger of the Spaniards and Portuguese, culminating with the expulsion of the Jesuits following this the decline of the project. From the missions remain the extraordinary example of an extraordinary civilizing experience in the entire world, the archaeological wealth, the sculpture, the layout of the cities, the magnificent ruins, the history counted in museums, culture centers and universities, present  mysteries that reunified with  the current MERCOSUR  constitute  the International Circuit of the Jesuit Missions. Read more ...

Entre los años 1609 y 1768 en las actuales zonas de frontera de Brasil , Argentina , Paraguay y Uruguay , trascurrió una de las historias mas extraordinarias de la humanidad ; la “República Jesuítica del Paraguay”. Esta estaba formada por 30 pueblos que alcanzaron un nivel tecnológico y social tan elevado que causó la ira de los Españoles y Portugueses , lo que culminó con la expulsión de los Jesuitas y por lo tanto en ocaso del proyecto . De las misiones permanece el extraordinario ejemplo de una experiencia civilizadora única en el mundo , la riqueza arqueológica , la escultura , la distribución de las ciudades , las magníficas ruinas , la historia contada en museos , centros culturales y universidades , misterios presentes que reunificados en el MERCOSUR actual constituyen el Circuito Internacional de las Misiones Jesuíticas .Ver texto ...
