histórica Isla chaqueña del Cerrito , transferida a la Provincia
del Chaco el 31 de diciembre de 1968 , culminando un viejo
litigio por su posesión desde los tiempos en que fue utilizada
como reserva para un hospital de enfermos de lepra y bastión
aliado durante la Guerra de La Triple Alianza es hoy un complejo
turístico que , en la confluencia de los ríos Paraná y Paraguay
, ofrece un amplio espectro de actividades deportivas y recreativas
; pesca embarcada y de costa , deportes náuticos , paseos
por sus riberas , riachos y senderos interiores , con una
riquísima fauna , tanto terrestre como fluvial.
Dotada de todos los servicios para recibir a sus visitantes
, incluso en el segmento de alto confort , tiene también
amplios espacios destinados al camping , con todos los requerimientos
de esta actividad .

The historical Isla del Cerrito , transferred to the
Province of Chaco , Argentina , in December 31st.
of 1968 , culminated an old litigation for its possession
from the times when it was used as reservation for a hospital
of sick of leprosy and allied bastion during the War of The
Triple Alliance .It is today a tourist complex that, in the
fork of the rivers Paraná and Paraguay, offers a wide spectrum
of sport and recreational activities; embarked

streams and interior paths, with a very rich fauna, terrestrial
as muchs as fluvial.
